Locking areas
You can lock an area if you do not want it to be selected or changed by accident. This is useful for background elements, overlays, or transparent graphics that make it difficult to select another area underneath.
A locked area cannot be selected on the artboard. When you click it, H5mag will select the area underneath instead. You can still select a locked area in the area tree.
Locked areas also do not capture clicks or scroll actions in the viewer. For example, if an image floats on top of a text area, visitors can still scroll the text when their cursor is on top of the image.
Locking an area
To lock an area, right-click it and choose Lock. To unlock it, right-click the area in the area tree and choose Unlock.
Locked areas show a lock icon in the area tree. To edit, move, resize or delete a locked area, unlock it first.
Do not lock buttons, links or other interactive areas, because clicks will pass through them and visitors will not be able to use them.
